Overview Staff Software Engineer (Enterprise) at Relevance AI — Sydney, AU, Hybrid - 3 days a week in office. Responsibilities Architect, build, and deliver Enterprise-grade features across the full stack, from frontends to scalable backend systems and cloud infrastructure. Take ownership of complex, mission-critical projects, delivering impactful features and guiding them from ideation to production. Push the boundaries of AI capabilities by designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for Enterprise customers. Contribute to engineering culture, processes, and how the team scales. Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. Set and uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and scalability. Collaborate with product, design, and leadership to align technical direction with business goals. Our Tech Stack Frontend: Vue.js, Nuxt, Typescript Backend: Express.js, Node.js, Typescript Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL Cloud & Deployment: Vercel, AWS What We’re Looking For 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally with large Enterprise customers. Strong expertise in our tech stack or the ability to quickly master new technologies. Thrives in dynamic, high-performance startup settings and is comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration. Customer-centric mindset, ownership of projects, and a track record of delivering high-quality results. Deep interest in AI and excitement to build category-defining products. Regularly leverage AI tools to boost productivity and innovation. Bonus Points Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems for real-world enterprise users. Understanding of large-scale per-customer deployments (on-premise and cloud). Knowledge of FGA/RBAC, AWS infra, SSO/OAuth, and analytics.
