The Role We are looking for a Network Engineer to work from our Brendale office in Queensland Take your part in the MarchNet team delivering smarter telecommunication services to remote locations. MarchNet builds and operates a network that we are proud of. Key Responsibilities Create network designs delivering high‑capacity services to regional and remote locations for the Pre‑Sales and Projects Teams Configure equipment for projects Hands‑on and remote assistance for the Projects Team delivering the solution you designed Ongoing escalated support for the carrier network Create documentation that captures all required details to support completed projects Proactively review and suggest improvements to the carrier network Take responsibility for customer communication, escalating as required to management or other teams as appropriate Ability to both develop and follow processes to always ensure standardised and robust delivery of customer services Participation in after hours on‑call roster To be successful in this role The successful applicant for this role enjoys a diverse flexible busy working environment with opportunities to learn, whilst also being part of building the future network. They’ll also have the following attributes/qualifications: Logical thinker Understanding of key areas: Routing (OSPF, eBGP and iBGP), Switching, Firewalling, Wi‑Fi networks, Microwave, LTE and 5G technologies (we’ll teach if required) Understanding of change management principles Strong time management skills and reliable work ethic Excellent written and communication skills Willingness to learn and be part of a larger team Happy to get your hands dirty and get the job done The following skills/qualifications are preferred Some form of Cisco Certification Experience with Mikrotik Routers and RouterOS highly desired #J-18808-Ljbffr
