In collaboration with the Executive Director of Nursing establish the strategic direction and standards for Nursing and Midwifery Education and Training within the Training and Learning Hub for Hospitals North. The Role: Lead nursing and midwifery education and training strategy across HospitalsNorth Develop, implement, and evaluate programs for orientation, clinical skills, and professional development Drive workforce capability and succession planning through targeted learning initiatives Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and qualitystandards Embed evidence-based practice and clinical governance in all educationactivities Collaborate with universities, professional bodies, and internal stakeholders Manage education resources, budgets, and staff effectively You willneed: Current registration as aRegistered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, plus postgraduate qualifications in nursing, education, or healthleadership. Demonstrated leadership in nursing education, workforce development, and compliance with accreditation and regulatorystandards. Strong strategic, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in curriculum design, digital learning, and resourcemanagement. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join ourteam. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successfulapplicant. Salary: $ 144 , 146 per annum. Our Employer 12 % superannuation contribution is on top of thisamount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023 . In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may beavailable: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualificationtype Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package arange of benefits including living expenses up to $ 9 , 010 + $ 2 , 650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits ifeligible. Benefits available to eligiblecandidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $ 15 , 000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $ 10 , 000 for appointees frominterstate.
