As the Clinical Coding Documentation Auditor and Educator, you will lead education, auditing, and data integrity initiatives that strengthen case mix reporting and support high-quality healthcare delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Clinical Coders, Clinicians, Managers, and key hospital stakeholders to enhance documentation standards, uplift coding capability, and ensure compliance with national and state coding requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead education, mentoring, and training programs for coding staff to support accuracy, consistency, and strong case mix performance. Deliver documentation, casemix, and coding education to clinicians and hospital staff through presentations, workshops, and one‑on‑one support. Conduct random and targeted coding audits, analyse results, and recommend improvements to lift coding accuracy and data quality. Develop audit tools, benchmarks, and measures to monitor performance and identify classification or documentation issues affecting ABF outcomes. Support coding workforce development, including onboarding, training new coders, and contributing to the Clinical Coding Traineeship Program. Oversee data integrity, including DRG analysis, error identification, and compliance with ICD‑10‑AM and national/state guidelines. Prepare accurate reports, support end‑of‑month submissions, and resolve documentation queries with clinicians and HIGU as needed. Foster continuous improvement, teamwork, and a positive coding culture while contributing to LHN, State, and committee activities. Who Are We Looking For?
