About the Organisation GRC Talent is Australia’s first recruitment agency dedicated exclusively to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) hiring within the newly regulated sectors (law, real estate, accounting and professional services). Founded in 2024, we’ve built a strong first-mover advantage in a market experiencing one of the most significant regulatory reforms in recent years. We partner with leading firms nationwide to help them hire AML/CTF specialists – a brand-new position for many of these sectors. Your Role This is an entry-level role for someone who is motivated, curious, and interested in building a career in recruitment. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will: Learn how to source, interview and build relationships with highly specialised candidates. Support senior consultants on live roles across Australia and New Zealand. Manage candidate pipelines, screen CVs, conduct market research, and assist in building talent pools. Work closely with hiring managers and gain exposure to how new compliance teams are built from scratch. Gradually move into owning your own roles and clients with full support and structured development. Training, Development & Rotations You will receive structured, hands-on training covering: Recruitment fundamentals (sourcing, interviewing, stakeholder management). AML/CTF knowledge tailored to Tranche 2 sectors (law, real estate, accounting). Tools and systems such as JobAdder, LinkedIn Recruiter, market mapping, and talent pipelines. Training is delivered directly by the founder and through real-time coaching on active roles. As you grow, you’ll rotate across different client types (law firms, real estate groups, accounting practices, RegTech partners) to build a well-rounded understanding of the sector.
