This is an opportunity to join a well-established medical device organisation with a strong presence in ENT, managing a broad surgical portfolio across both capital equipment and consumables. The Queensland territory is performing strongly and has been over budget for the past few years, supported by a consistent consumables stream and a healthy capital pipeline. With the current Sales Specialist moving into a leadership role, this position offers a rare chance to step into a well-run territory with strong foundations already in place. The portfolio covers almost all ENT procedures, making this a diverse and commercially interesting role for someone who enjoys balancing longer capital sales cycles with day-to-day consumables activity. What background do you need for this role? Experience in medical device sales within a surgical or procedural environment Understanding of capital equipment sales, including trials, evaluations and longer sales cycles Proven experience selling into Queensland Health, particularly in theatre-based settings Ability to manage quotes and tenders independently Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft tools (Excel, Teams, Outlook) Brisbane-based, with the ability to travel across Queensland as required What sort of person are they looking for? Highly organised and able to prioritise, balancing long-term projects with immediate needs Patient and resilient, particularly with capital sales that can be complex and competitive Strong follow-up discipline, especially post-trial where outcomes aren’t guaranteed Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills across clinicians and procurement Willing to learn, ask questions and grow into a large and varied portfolio Comfortable working autonomously across a large geographic territory What’s in it for you?
