About the Role As a Trade Assistant , you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance of our bus fleet. Your responsibilities include: Assisting trade staff with minor repairs to keep buses road ready. Conducting kilometre‑based inspections (tyres, lights, fluids, body damage). Maintaining a clean and efficient workshop environment. Delivering and retrieving parts from suppliers and depots. Potential for overtime as a bus operator if you hold a Driver Authority. Qualifications Familiarity with workshop best practices and standard concepts. Strong communication and time‑management skills. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to obtain an HR licence. Mechanical background (desirable but not essential). Physical fitness to manage workshop duties. Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with a commitment to professionalism.
