Inventory Assistant

Inventory Assistant Location: Melbourne Airport Distribution Centre Term: An initial fixed term of 12 months, with potential to convert to permanent. Responsibilities Conduct physical stock counts and cycle counts on the warehouse floor Operate high reach forklift to access and verify stock in racking Investigate and help resolve stock discrepancies Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to check reports and input data Support stocktakes and audits as required Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Education & Experience High school degree or equivalent preferred Warehouse operations experience preferred Skills & Requirements Proficient in using inventory software and basic computer systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Ability to safely operate high reach forklifts (licence required) Good communication and teamwork skills Problem‑solving mindset for investigating stock issues Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment Organised and able to follow procedures and schedules About The Team At Wesco, we build, connect, power and protect the world.
