Shape the Future of Wangaratta – Become Our Next Projects Officer Wangaratta, VIC | Temporary Full Time until January 2028 | $76,232 per annum + super Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant regional community? The Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Projects Officer to help deliver our Capital Works program and support the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery team. What You’ll Do Coordinating project reporting and administration using CAMMS and our Integrated Project Management framework. Supporting procurement, budgeting, and contract processes. Preparing reports, presentations, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Assisting with grants, community planning programs, and internal training. Keeping project information up-to-date across systems and public platforms. What You’ll Bring Qualifications or experience in business administration, project coordination, or procurement. Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines. High-level computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office and records management systems. Knowledge of project management and procurement frameworks (local government experience is a plus). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
