Compliance Officer – NDIS Quality, Audit & Safeguarding Rapid Screening Pty Ltd – St Leonards Park NSW Rapid Screening is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to support our quality, audit and safeguarding framework, ensuring our work with NDIS clients meets all legislative, industry and ethical requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, systems‑focused and passionate about ensuring safe, high‑quality support for vulnerable people. About the Role The Compliance Officer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining compliance across Rapid Screening’s programs that engage with NDIS participants. You will conduct internal audits, maintain governance documentation, oversee safeguarding processes and ensure all standards and requirements are consistently met. This role works closely with leadership and operational teams and is central to strengthening our compliance and quality framework. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Governance Monitor compliance requirements for services delivered to NDIS clients Ensure adherence to legislation, quality standards and organisational policies Maintain policies, procedures and compliance registers Stay updated on industry changes and communicate impacts to the organisation Audit & Quality Assurance Conduct internal audits, documentation reviews and quality checks Prepare the organisation for external compliance assessments as required Create and track corrective actions and improvement plans Analyse data to identify risks, trends and opportunities for enhancement Safeguarding & Incident Oversight Support incident and complaint management processes Ensure accurate documentation, follow‑up and reporting Assist with risk assessment and safeguarding procedures Maintain relevant records and provide compliance reporting to leadership Training & Support Provide staff training on compliance, quality systems and documentation standards Support operational teams to implement policies and maintain best practice Promote a positive culture of quality, safety and accountability About You You are organised, proactive and confident interpreting compliance requirements. You enjoy creating clarity, improving systems and helping teams deliver safe, high‑quality services to NDIS clients. Essential Experience in compliance, quality, audit or risk roles Understanding of requirements relevant to services for NDIS participants Strong documentation, policy writing and organisational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience conducting audits or quality reviews Qualifications in compliance, community services, risk, business or similar Experience with incident reporting, safeguarding or risk management frameworks Mandatory Checks (or willingness to obtain) NDIS Worker Screening Check National Police Check Working With Children Check What We Offer Supportive and collaborative workplace culture Opportunities for professional development Competitive salary and ongoing stability #J-18808-Ljbffr
