We are seeking a positive and team‑oriented Groundsperson to join our team in a Casual position. The successful candidate will support the Grounds & Maintenance team during busy periods by assisting with lawn, garden, and pathway maintenance, helping with event setups, and undertaking other duties as directed. As a member of this team, you will be a valued and integral part of the School’s day‑to‑day operations, helping to create and maintain an environment where students and staff can flourish. Key Responsibilities Assist with general grounds and facility maintenance, including lawns, gardens, pathways, and verandas. Support school operations by helping with event setups and undertaking additional duties as directed by leadership. Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others through responsible actions and behaviour. Comply with and cooperate fully in all employer instructions, policies, and procedures related to workplace health and safety. Responsible for understanding and applying the School’s Child Safety Policies and Procedures. Taking all practicable measures to protect students where risk to their safety has been identified. Selection Criteria Demonstrate personal faith in Jesus Christ, regularly attend a Christian church, and live in alignment with the Association’s Statement of Faith and Educational Objectives. Be able to follow instructions and work positively in a small team environment. Ability to exercise attention to detail with all work performed. Contribute positively, enthusiastically and safely toward the improvement of work‑related systems on school grounds and property. Be able to work cooperatively with staff and the school community. Be committed to complying with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures. Desirable (Include where appropriate in your response) Previous knowledge and experience.
