Skybus - Trainee Bus Driver - Women Up Front - Part time Kinetic Gladstone Park, Victoria, Australia Overview Join SkyBus and become part of a trusted name in transport. The SkyBus Women Up Front (WUF) program is designed to help you get licensed and confident on the road in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you’re new to driving or looking to level up your skills, we’ve got you covered. This is a part-time role based at our depots in Tullamarine or Sunshine West. The position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Program Details Heavy Vehicle License Upgrade – We’ll help you get the license you need to drive with confidence. 6-Week Comprehensive Training Program – Classroom lessons and hands-on, on-the-road training to get you fully prepared. Skill Enhancement Lessons – Ongoing support to fine-tune your driving skills. Professional Driving Development – Learn customer service and safe, efficient driving techniques. Responsibilities As a SkyBus driver, you’ll deliver smooth, comfortable, and safe rides, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. You’ll be the first point of contact for passengers, ensuring their journey starts and ends on a high note. Location and Schedule Depots: Tullamarine or Sunshine West. Part-time: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Qualifications A genuine passion for driving Exceptional customer service skills and a love for engaging with the public A strong commitment to safety Flexibility to work over 7 days and a combination of AM & PM shifts Possession of a current Australian Driver’s License for a minimum of 2 years Possession of a valid CPV Driver Certificate, or willingness to obtain one A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one Ability to pass pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol screening) Australian working rights Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $35.18 Paid on-the-job training for 6 weeks for successful applicants (full-time during training) Uniform and free onsite parking Employee Assistance Program including wellbeing support, financial and nutritional coaching, counselling, and legal advice Career progression and professional development opportunities Lessons to obtain your Heavy Rigid (HR) licence 12-month structured training program to earn Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus A dedicated Buddy to support your development during training How to Apply & Equal Opportunity SkyBus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
