Bendigo Children's Dentistry is looking for another specialist paediatric dentist, special needs dentist, or general dentist with interest in such, to serve our ever-growing large community of patients in need Must be available to work on Thursdays with potential to add other days by negotiation. About us Bendigo Children’s Dentistry is the first ever specialist paediatric dental practice established in the Greater Bendigo Region. This practice provides a full range of high-quality specialist-level dental treatment to all children but with a particular focus on children with special needs, disabilities and/or dental anxiety. This is more than just a job – we see working in this practice as a dynamic journey where you will have many opportunities to positively influence the lives of children and their families and participate in reduction of dental anxiety which can bring about a lifetime of positive oral health. Patients/families are friendly and very grateful for our specialist care. We have great relationships with our local dentists and medical/allied health professionals and participate positively in our community. This dental practice primarily provides dental treatment to children but also can treat adults with special needs. This practice aims to provide the full range of high-quality specialist-level dental treatment to all children but with a particular focus on children (or adults) with special needs, disabilities and/or dental anxiety. We have all the bells and whistles that you would expect of a specialist dental practice: Fully computerised records, Core Practice software with digital xrays, OPG and CBCT on site Highest quality Dentsply Sirona equipment with television screens in both upright and reclined positions Disability friendly access and waiting room designed to cater for sensory disabilities and special needs, multiple sensory toys and reward systems DSLR digital photography and intra-oral camera Plumbed nitrous oxide sedation and access to GA facilities at local private hospitals, also opportunities to set up on-site sedation with registered anaesthetist Computer-Controlled Local Anaesthetic Delivery system and Dentavibe system for pain-free injections Rotary endodontics Café, shops and walking trails in walking distance Experienced and supportive staff Generous remuneration with travel allowance considered for suitable applicants Qualifications & experience Required: appropriate Australian recognised dental qualification related to position (e.g., Bachelor of Dental Science, Doctor of Clinical Dentistry etc) Required: Working with Children’s Check and Police Check Required: Australian Work Authorisation and proficiency in the English language Required: Current Australian Drivers Licence Required: Passion for treating children and/or patients with special needs, excellent communication skills and flexible attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
