About the Role Northern Health is seeking dynamic Enrolled Nurses to work on Ward 7, the Women’s Mental Health Unit. The Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse will work under the supervision of a registered nurse in an acute inpatient setting, providing care for adult female consumers. They will practice under indirect supervision, critically analyse situations using clinical assessments, and manage consumers with complex behaviours. The role requires a strong understanding of mental health diagnosis and physical health issues, and a consumer‑centred care focus. Typical duties include comprehensive assessments, developing nursing care plans and risk management plans, communicating with colleagues, providing family support, and working rotating shifts including nights.
