Duty Manager

Duty Managers will provide leadership and supervision to assigned teams while overseeing daily operations, ensuring staff productivity, monitoring process compliance and creating a positive and safe work environment for all employees and patrons visiting the facility. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our aquatic facilities are actively supervised in a professional, respectful and caring manner in line with YMCA SA values. As a Duty Manager, you will: Lead and supervise staff to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations. Actively monitor aquatic areas and ensure aquatic ratios are in adherence to the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations. Coordinate lifeguard rotations, conduct pool and facility checks, and respond to incidents and emergencies in line with procedures. Deliver excellent customer service, resolving enquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Open and close the facility, complete reporting, cash handling, and general administration tasks. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patrons and staff.
