We are offering a Certificate III/IV Early Education Traineeship at Timber Tots ELC in Manjimup. This traineeship provides a pathway to a rewarding career in Early Education. We are looking for fun, energetic, and hardworking individuals who are passionate about supporting and nurturing children’s interests. At YMCA WA our traineeships offer: Hands‑on training to complete your qualification Time during work hours to complete your studies Competitive salary and attractive employee benefits Ongoing learning through supportive peer mentoring teams Access to resources like early learning programs (EYLF, NQS) to help you complete your studies Ability to progress your career when you have completed your traineeship Duties Record observations of individual children or groups Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre Create positive relationships with children and families and team members Skills and Experience Hold no previous qualifications in Early Childhood and have not previously completed a Certificate III or Diploma traineeship in another area of study. Interest in working with young children and working towards qualifications in Children’s Service at Certificate III level. Have a Working with children’s check card or be willing to obtain one. Good oral and written communication skills Good relationship building skills Enthusiasm to learn and broaden knowledge Time management in meeting requirements of child contact time and training plan schedule.
