Civil Offsiders & Drillers – Power & Communications Civil Offsiders & Drillers – Power & Communications Location: Cockburn Central, WA Cable Layers Australia is a civil construction company specialising in the power and communications industries across Western Australia. We’re currently seeking Civil Offsiders and Drillers to join our team based in Cockburn Central . These roles involve assisting with directional drilling, excavator operations, reinstatement works, cable laying , and the installation of communications and power infrastructure . Key Responsibilities Perform directional drilling tasks, including excavations and asset location. General labouring duties such as site preparation and on‑site support. Operate drilling and excavator equipment. Complete reinstatement works and cable laying. Install communications and power infrastructure across Perth and surrounding areas. Skills and Experience Valid WA HR or MR Truck Driver’s Licence White Card (Construction Induction) Physically fit and capable of manual labour. Strong focus on safety and following procedures. Good communication skills and team attitude. Ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen . Experience operating drilling equipment for underground utilities. Positive work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience Preferred Previous cable laying or utilities construction experience. Working knowledge of underground utilities (Power, Water, Gas, Communications). Excavator operating ticket. What We Offer Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications.
