Like all of us at Thiess you’re a passionate and energetic person that appreciates responsibility, recognition and reward. 2 : 1 roster (7D7N7RR) FIFO Perth to Mount Holland Mine Salary sacrifice options available for applicants outside WA Permanent full-time role with development and upskilling opportunities In this role you will : Operating machinery efficiently, safely and competently to ensure maximum output Complying with Thiess policies and procedures Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor Ensuring floor levels are maintained Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner Operate drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards Carrying out pre-start checks About you 3 years plus experience operating the following in an Excavator, Dozer, Grader, Loader in a production mining operation Equivalent or specific experience operating - Liebherr 9200 Experience on any of the following preferred - CAT D10 and Cat 16M Possess strong mining operational skills and be able to demonstrate ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark-ups and pit configuration HR driver’s licence (desirable) Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times What Thiess can do for you Full camp facilities provided High quality food options Thiess commitment to training & development Salary sacrifice options Flights & novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
