Join us now as a Sanitation Manager for an immediate start In this role, you will be responsible for skilfully implementing and overseeing a thorough Sanitation and Environmental Compliance strategy across our processing, packaging, warehouse, and office areas. Your main objective is to ensure our facility consistently meets all regulatory standards. Don't miss out on this impactful positionKey Responsibilities:Lead the sanitation team, setting clear expectations on safety, GMP, productivity, and compliance.Contribute to the development and implementation of sanitation and environmental programs to meet Suprima Bakeries' standards and regulatory requirements.Create and manage the Master Sanitation Schedule, providing regular compliance reports.Prepare and monitor the sanitation budget, overseeing external vendors for service level compliance and cost-effectiveness.Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sanitation processes, including capital expenditure projects.Report and monitor environmental and biodiversity metrics regularly.Ensure a safe work environment through proper implementation of operating procedures and safety training.Implement daily food safety guidelines.Foster effective communication with team members and management.Provide relevant training programs for sanitation and production teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with equipment suppliers and the Engineering department to ensure hygienic equipment design.Participate in audits, facility inspections, and pre-operational checks with QC Management.Analyse both financial and non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs).We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess:Familiarity with customer and regulatory standards in sanitation and environmental management.Mechanical aptitude, understanding equipment design, operation, and sanitation hazards.Experience in food manufacturing operations.Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise by example.Knowledge of chemicals used in the sanitation process.Flexibility in role requirements.About you:Results driven with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.Good communication skills – both written and verbal.Ability to work in an environment that is "hands on".Intermediate level in Microsoft office and computer skills.About Us:Suprima Bakeries is part of the Prima Group of Companies.
