As a Senior Electrical Engineer specialising in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), join an industry leading team and collaborate both nationally and internationally. What you'll do:Supporting WSP's renewable project development servicesLead the development of concept and preliminary designs for BESS and Balance of Plant electrical design under the guidance of principal engineersUndertaking technical due diligence reviews of renewable energy projects under the guidance of principal engineersProviding independent engineering and owner's engineering construction services under the guidance of principal engineersAbout YouElectrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar relevant degreeTypically, 4+ years' industry experienceUnderstanding of or exposure to renewable energy technology and high voltage infrastructure projectsElectrical infrastructure and balance of plant detailed design experience is preferred but not requiredPrevious HV (33KV and above) electrical engineering design experience is requiredStrong communication skills and a high standard of written communicationIn addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:Natural connectorProblem solver with a powerful team spiritAdaptableSomeone ready to do the kind of work the world needsAbout WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
