About The Role Deliver mental health assessment and brief intervention through home visits/outreach and/or virtual care services. Operate within a bio‑psycho‑social culturally grounded approach and provide care navigation to children, young people and their families to improve mental health, social and emotional well‑being. This is a shift work role, including weekdays 0800 – 1630 or 1200 – 2030 shifts and some weekends 0900 – 1730 shifts. Supported by the Aboriginal Mental Health Workforce and with access to CAMHS education framework, Ministry of Health training/networks, and professional development opportunities. About You Skilled in trauma‑informed and holistic care, collaborative approach, deep respect for clients and colleagues. Passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Requirements Qualification in Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counselling (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health, Djirruwang Program), Occupational Therapy, with eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. For Nursing: current unrestricted registration with AHPRA & meet the requirement for Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, hold required postgraduate qualifications in the specialty field and meet the experience requirements for appointment under the NSW Public Health System Nurses' & Midwives' State Award. Demonstrated advanced interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills (written and oral), including the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, adapt communication style to suit children/young people and their parents/guardians and demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems.
