Role Summary:
This position is a leading role for the development and management of GTT’s Professional Services portfolio. The role focuses on devising product strategy as part of the Managed and Professional Services product team, setting the development roadmap, and enabling global sales and operations teams to be successful. The role requires a deep knowledge of managed and professional services, including technology trends, diverse client requirements, and the wider market for these services.
This role requires supervision of virtual teams as required and routine access to senior management. In addition to the product organization, you will regularly collaborate and lead projects with senior leaders in marketing, sales, operations, engineering, systems, and service delivery. Furthermore, this is a key public facing function of the business, delivering strategic GTT messages and thought leadership by engaging with press, industry analysts and speaking at industry events
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the wider product team to build a vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Professional Services product line to create an end goal of a scalable and sustainable business for GTT
Lead product planning, launch and lifecycle management efforts for the Professional Services portfolio
Advising and guiding the customer on how they can leverage GTT’s Professional Services to enable their business strategy
Drive innovation within the portfolio and across divisions to ensure competitive market positioning, pricing, technology, and product structure
Leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product improvements.
Understand long-term client market and develop products strategies to ensure products are highly competitive
Collaborate with product marketing and marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging and campaigns that resonate with our target buyers
Engage in thought leadership and strategic communication activities representing GTT with conferences, industry analysts, and press
Deliver a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products address customer needs and pain points. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and insights.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Conducting market research and analyzing customer feedback to inform product decisions.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Experience working in or with a telecoms or technology Professional Services function
Experience defining compelling commercial structures for new Professional Services offerings
Experience working with large, global enterprises on their requirements and business strategies
Deep understanding of the wider market for telecoms and technology professional services
Understanding of the wider market for telecoms and technology services including, but not limited to, Managed SD-WAN, Managed Networking, Cyber Security, Hybrid Cloud
Experience of working globally across multiple geographies and timezones
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
Experience of working in a telecoms or technology Product Management function
Industry relevant vendor certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCIE etc)
