Could you be the full-time Quality Technician (f/m/d) in Vienna we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the Flexity™ tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. We’ll look for you to:
Manage non-compliant materials: Ensure that all non-compliant materials are identified and handled according to quality control standards
Data Processing: Use internal systems to accurately report and resolve defects
Logistics Coordination: Execute block posting, initiate replacement deliveries, and create purchase requisitions for repair materials or replacements
Monitor Repairs: Oversee repair activities, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures
Inventory Management: Monitor blocked stock and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction
All About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
German language proficiency is mandatory, English being a significant advantage
Familiarity with SAP software
Team player with a knack for finding quick solutions, reliable, and proactive
Technical understanding, ability to read drawings, and knowledge of general quality standards
Things You’ll Enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. The minimum salary for this position is € EUR gross annually for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications. You’ll also:
Experience a dynamic work environment with a permanent position at a leading company for green mobility
Enjoy a competitive remuneration package, 25 days of vacation, and benefits such as company pension plans and discounted tickets for public transport
Optimise work-life balance with flexible working hours and hybrid working models as well as bridging days, parental part-time and “Papamonat”
Alstom site with company canteen and meal allowance as well as good transport connections and free parking facilities
Explore growth opportunities and steer your career across functions and countries
Benefit from excellent training opportunities through our award-winning Alstom University and participate in the company's innovation culture through idea management programmes
Thrive in a modern and collaborative workplace featuring mentor and buddy programs, diversity & inclusion initiatives, CSR activities, and engaging employee events
Enjoy a comprehensive corporate health management with various initiatives such as company physician and psychologist and other health measures
Other attractive offers such as employee discounts, company bike leasing & share purchase programms
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you
