Manufacturing Project Manager

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs. Our focused pipeline includes the world’s first vaccine against the chikungunya virus, the only Lyme disease vaccine candidate in advanced clinical development, which is partnered with Pfizer, as well as vaccine candidates against the Zika virus and other global public health threats.

This role will provide a single point of technical contact towards assigned external partners and internal stakeholders at manufacturing Valneva sites. Collaborating cross-functionally with Stakeholders to deliver topics as part of our digitization program as part of our wider business transformation.
Due to the nature of the role, travelling will be required on a regular basis.
Requirements
Technical Leadership
Provides a single point of technical contact towards assigned CMO's and internal supporting departments amongst impacted (downstream and upstream) manufacturing Valneva sites. Partners effectively and leads the interface with Valneva Technology/CTM CMO departments (Process Development, Analytical R&D, Internal ManufactuirngTechnology site representatives etc.), as well as with CMO Quality Leaders and other Valneva Groups for alignment of priorities. Provide direct leadership for day-to-day technical activities for commercial manufacturing –, leading of 'calibrated' technical review of process change requests and deviation reports and investigations - initiating and driving change controls to completion. Overall technical project management relating to the commercial manufacturing of vaccine – , process improvement, capacity increasing, new product introduction, etc. Management / coordination of technical risk assessments including drafting/executing upon solutions to complex issues linked with commercial vaccine manufacturing.Project Management
Contributing to, compiling, and extending of CMO /product strategy from technical stance amongst translation into detailed plans to be executed upon. Guiding cross-functional teams through drafting, approval, implementing and acting upon of integrated ( Technology, Regulatory, Quality) CMO plans appropriate to the product lifecycle phase. Ensuring technical risk management plans are adequately developed and are adhered to in a timely manner whilst communications within the team and relevant partners are clear and effective.Benefits
