About Playbrush

Playbrush, an innovator in Oral Care since 2015, has transformed the industry with smart toothbrushes and service subscriptions. These interactive tools connect to smartphones, making toothbrushing an engaging educational experience for children and offering performance feedback for adults.

Acquired by SUNSTAR in 2021, Playbrush products were integrated into the GUM brand family in 2023, combining GUM’s health expertise with Playbrush’s intelligent software solutions. Playbrush Austria also serves as the Direct-To-Consumer hub for the Sunstar Europe Group

Aufgaben

Job Mission:

To harness the power of data to drive strategic decisions and optimize customer experiences, thereby maximizing revenue and growth for a subscription-based DTC company. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that directly influence business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze data from various databases and tools to support data-driven business decisions. This is done to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can be leveraged to optimize operations and strategy.
  • Data Source Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and the data collection process, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for analysis and decision-making.
  • Data Standardization: Lead initiatives to standardize data analysis practices across the company, ensuring consistency and reliability in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Custom Model Development: Develop and implement custom data models and algorithms tailored to the company’s needs, applying them to data sets to derive actionable business insights.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop processes and tools to continuously analyze model performance and data accuracy, making necessary adjustments to improve effectiveness.
  • Predictive Modeling: Utilize predictive modeling techniques to enhance and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other critical business outcomes.
  • Reporting & Communication: Regularly prepare and present comprehensive reports on data findings, model performance, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that data-driven decisions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify and seize opportunities for using data to drive commercial solutions, enhancing the overall business strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Implementation: Coordinate with various teams to deploy data models, monitoring their performance and outcomes to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data-related processes and implement tools that enhance data analysis and model accuracy, driving continuous improvement in data operations.
Qualifikation
  • Essential: University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Desirable: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Essential: 3-7 years of experience in manipulating large data sets and building statistical models.
  • Desirable: Experience within a subscription-based DTC company or e-commerce environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical computer languages such as Python, SQL, R, etc., with a strong background in data architecture and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, distribution properties, statistical tests).
