YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • You design, discuss and develop scalable infrastructures for complex and data intense products

  • You develop and automate infrastructure using IaC (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi) 

  • Designing and Implementing CI/CD pipelines for complex infrastructure heavy & data-intense projects

  • You implement, operate and improve our customers cloud and on-premise infrastructure (Managed Cloud Services, Kubernetes)

  • You evaluate arising storage and compute technologies in the big data field

  • You support our product teams in production and operation related topics

  • The willingness to learn and staying up to date with arising technologies is self-evident for you

  • You will be working in an extraordinary, interdisciplinary team on projects that push the boundaries of industrial big data & AI

  • You will also be working on our very own products, bring in your ideas and take on responsibility for own projects
YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • You finished your BSc/MSc/PhD in a related field, e.g. Computer Science with at least one year professional experience in a Software Engineering environment

  • You have a good understanding of and eagerness to learn big data infrastructures and (private) cloud architectures 

  • You bring knowledge of at least one programming language like Python and experience with SQL

  • With solid and well founded knowledge in Linux server systems and administration you are taking on tasks

  • You bring a good understanding of infrastructure requirements for operating software in production

  • You already have some experience with automation tools and monitoring systems

  • Knowledge of Azure (optional)

  • English language proficiency required and knowledge of German is a plus

The minimum salary  for this position starts at € 45.000,- per year according to the IT collective agreement Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a market-oriented overpayment.
