The role
Functional Safety Engineering for e-mobility (like Electric Drive Unit (EDU) for core and customer, VCU, transmissions etc.) application projects Managing functional safety activities at software level Work according to ISO 26262 Create and approve safety relevant work products Contributing to the process development Supporting safety assessments and audits Prepare safety related work products Analysis and evaluation of safety critical systems and functions based on state-of-the-art methods (HARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA, SA, FMEDA)
Qualifications
Bsc/Msc in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable educational background Preferably of 3 years’ demonstrable experience in an automotive or similar engineering environment, with a focus on delivery functionally safe software. Excellent knowledge in the technical implementation of functional safety (according to ISO26262 or IEC61508) Good English skills are required, spoken and writtenAdvantages:
Working understanding of automotive HV standards; design methodologies and working practices. Proven experience of working on automotive e-powertrain systems (such as motors; inverters; batteries/energy storage; power electronics) and understanding their interfaces and integration into the vehicle. Confident at reading vehicle wiring diagrams, and understanding component electrical interfaces, e.g. Device Transmittals; External World Diagrams. German and/or Hungarian languages knowledge.-
