Strengthen our Site Leadership Team at the Royal Canin plant in Bruck an der Leitha (30 min drive from Vienna) as Site R&D / Quality & Food Safety Manager. In this position, you will be at the forefront of our local R&D operations, leading innovation, and championing quality and food safety initiatives. You will manage and inspire our dedicated R&D team and play a crucial role in the local site leadership team, contributing far beyond the traditional functional scope.

What we are looking for:  

Master’s degree in biological, biochemical, food science, or a related field

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, showcasing strong leadership skills and a proven track record in team and individual development, as well as functional competences, preferably within Petcare

Fluent English and with at least basic German skills

What will be your key responsibilities?  

Lead and coach the local site R&D team

Ensure site awareness and compliance with global quality and food safety standards

Act as the primary interface into the Royal Canin organization for R&D related topics

Lead continuous improvement of consumer-relevant product quality at the site

Oversee the smooth and standardized operation of production technologies at the site

Define and implement standard operating procedures and enhance process capabilities

Ensure standards are met and address gaps promptly and effectively

Work with fellow leadership team members to cultivate a strong quality culture
