Responsibilities:

- You will support strategic purchasing projects from the customer inquiry through to series release (APQP).
- You will be responsible for project-related supplier selection and qualification on international markets.
- Your tasks will also include drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers and service providers.
- With your quality awareness, you will ensure that quality standards are met in the procurement of materials.
- You will also be responsible for document management (distribution of drawings).
- You will also be responsible for purchasing price controlling and regular reporting, including cost structure analyses and value analyses.
- You keep an eye on costs and implement cost-cutting measures.
- You will carry out regular benchmarks (procurement market research).

Qualifications:

- Education: completed studies or comparable training and further education in the technical or business management field
- Professional experience: You have several years of experience in technical purchasing - ideally in a manufacturing company.
- IT skills: MS Office, ideally SAP
- Skills:
o Strong negotiating skills, communication
o Willingness to travel internationally to the extent of about 10%
o Project management
o Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite
