Test Analyst Opportunity at a Leading Insurance Company in Vienna (f/d/m)

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities: Create and execute test scenarios and cases, document and analyze results, and present findings.

Project Info:

  • Testing Tools: Work with Tosca for test case management.
  • Release Cycles: Participate in 4 releases per year following the waterfall model.
  • Collaboration Tools: Utilize Jira & Confluence.

Team Dynamics:

  • Cultural Diversity: Join a diverse team with many colleagues stationed in Nitra, fluent in German and English.

Your Profile:

  • Background: Insurance background is beneficial. Open to those transitioning from consulting to IT testing or from non-IT fields with a learning mindset.
  • Tech Must-Haves: Tosca and SQL proficiency are big pluses.

Experience:

  • Junior Friendly: Open to junior candidates willing to learn and ask questions.

Personality Traits:

  • Communication: Open, communicative, proactive, and stress-resistant.
  • Passion for Testing: Genuine interest in software testing.

Language Skills:

  • German: Proficiency at B2 level.

Team Structure:

  • Team Size: 22 internal members plus external colleagues.
  • Hierarchy: Test Analysts and Test Managers work closely together.

Location & Work Environment:

  • Vienna-Based: Embrace the charm of Vienna, a city rich in culture and history.
  • ⏰ Work Hours: Standard 38.5-hour workweek.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Annual gross salary between 50K – 75K, depending on qualifications and experience.

Contract:

  • Flexible: Not an all-in contract.

Remote Work:

  • Hybrid Model: 2 days in the office, with flexibility depending on the team.
