Job Description

TEAM & CULTURE

In this role, you'll work effectively within a team and demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills. PRODUCT OWNERSHIP

On another hand, you'll take on end-to-end ownership for initiatives from the initial concept through to rollout. This means conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform build or buy decisions as well as supporting the service owner in prioritizing initiatives based on business value, user demands and technical feasibility. You'll contribute to the product backlog including writing comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria. Also, you'll act as a primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarifications and answering questions about backlog items. Overall, you'll collaborate with Media Brands to ensure successful product launches and adoptions.

USER EXPERIENCE

Ensuring the user experience, you'll be conducting user research to understand user needs, pain points and behaviours. You'll therefore, create user journey maps and service blueprints to visualize the end-to-end user experience as well as facilitate co-creation workshops with stakeholders to generate innovative ideas and solutions. You'll also develop prototypes (supported by our engineer team) and conduct usability testing to refine service designs.

SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE

Last but not least, you'll develop high-level architecture and design documents that outline the solution's structure, components, and integrations. You'll design integration strategies that ensure seamless communication between new solutions and existing systems as well as ensuring the solution architecture meets business requirements, is scalable, maintainable, and aligns with industry best practices and standards. Finally, you'll ensure implementation of observability practices, including the use of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools, to gain comprehensive insights into the health and performance of solutions.

Qualifications

Proven practical experience as Product Owner/Product Manager preferable for cloud-based services/solutions

University degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Technology or IT education with several years of relevant experience

Fluent in English, German is a plus

Experience in domain driven design (DDD) principles and applying its methods and tools

Experience in design thinking, requirement engineering and its methods to bridge the gap between business and our technology department

Knowledgeable of different software architectures and their impact on application design (like serverless, monoliths, microservices)

Background in software engineering to drive the design and implementation of solutions with development teams following agile methodologies throughout the entire lifecycle

Communicative team player with an analytical mind-set willing to take responsibility and drive topics

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,367 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
