Algo Coding/Trading Consultant

Based from our Vienna office, working in our Professional Services team on our autoTRADER product, this is an essential role supporting our key clients in the energy trading space. You will be supporting our new and existing customers to improve their experience and take full advantage of Trayport’s solutions.

is an algorithmic trading solution for spot and curve trading that supports power and gas markets. It comes with a variety of standard out-the-box algorithms but also allows for custom algo coding.

What will you be doing?

Acting as a consultant and subject matter expert on Trayport software

Providing workshops and running training sessions with customers to help better use our algo trading software

Creating and renewing documentation

Consulting customers, understanding their specific needs and support

Supporting the commercial team with demos and pre-sales activity

Handling support queries related to algo coding

Managing feature requests for our standard algos and our customers algo coding experience Supporting the product manager with quantitative analysis

What would you bring?

Customer focused and eager to deliver excellent service

Strong communication skills - both written and verbal

Python development experience

Strong understanding and working knowledge of algorithmic trading
