Ion Trap Development Engineer

In your new role you will:
Drive technology development for trapped-ion quantum processors , with focus on scaling towards very large chips Co-develop the next generations of QPUs with our commercial partners Enable the research community through projects with academic partners Supervise master and PhD students

To thrive on your quantum adventure, you should:
Be a highly motivated individual who wants quantum computing to become a reality Have a PhD in physics , quantum engineering , or similar Bring 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quantum optics , and/or (trapped-ion) quantum computing Be fluent in English , German skills or the willingness to learn is a plus

The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
