Tasks

We are looking for a dedicated student (m/w/d) of biotechnology, microbiology, molecula biology, or related disciplines, interested in a paid Master’s thesis.

Your tasks

As part of your work, you will investigate the valorization of side and waste streams from the paper industry through acidification. To determine the optimal conditions, you will conduct experiments on a laboratory scale. Additionally, you will co-supervise a pilot plant.

Start: September 2024
Duration: 6 months

Requirements

Your interests

  • Studies: Biotechnology | Microbiology | Molecula Biology | or similar
  • Interest and joy in conducting practical experiments
  • Conscious handling of the necessary equipment
  • Laboratory experience (e.g., through exercises, internships)
  • Study admission for an Austrian university, EU visa, residence permit
