Architectural work sounds boring? At Zooplus, we have created a unique & lean process in which we employ collaborative crafting to deliver practical blueprints, guidelines, and training to support our product teams in reaching their goal. To make it even better, we are looking for you, an experienced Domain Architect who has footprints in business domains and cares about the important stuff.
Being part of the Software Architecture Chapter, your mission is to create an environment in which the right architecture emerges to fulfill our business model and product vision. You will also work closely with our business stakeholders, POs, and product teams to transfer business requirements into flexible & sustainable solutions.
Your business domain:
- Strategic pricing
- Pricing automation/engine
- Customer price awareness & affinity
- Profitability monitoring & calculation
- Competitor monitoring
- Promotion management & automation
- Promotion performance monitoring & optimization
Your responsibilities:
- Develop overall product architecture vision that is also aligned with IT infrastructure
- Drive guidelines & policies to govern product development efforts
- Ensure efficient interaction of product landscape
- Ensure overall quality of the software architecture of my product area
- Create architecture blueprints
- Maintain overall state and foresee future needs in IT and technology
- Help product teams in their daily work and maintain hands-on technical expertise

Qualifications
- Excellent technical leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of architecture approaches/paradigms and technology alternatives
- Excellent ability of understanding problem domain both from business and technical perspective and design solutions for it
- Profound knowledge in the mentioned business domain
- Profound organizational, communication, conflicts resolving skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in driving project and agile methodologies
- Passioned for sharing with others
- Previous working experience in e-commerce is a plus
- Very good English (spoken and written)
Additional Information
For this position, an annual gross salary from EUR 60,844 is envisaged for employment in Austria (38.5 hours/week); In addition, we may offer an overpayment in line with the market depending on qualifications and experience.
