Job descriptionIn your new job you will:Collect inputs from the market and customer feedback, use your system understanding to define the targets specification of the next generation DC/DC controllers and contribute innovative concepts and ideasProduct-to-system (P2S) validation of Infineon developed digital &analog controllers, hot-swap controllers, and e-fuse Design validation hardware, write system verification plan, and generate test reportsGeneration of customer product collateral (application notes, customer presentations, white paper, demo boards, simulation model and product training)Define the firmware requirements of innovation features using digital controller and validate the features in systemInteract with Customer to support design-ins and ensure design-wins and to solve technical issues that may arise in the design-in and/or production of customer products using controller, may include managing the failure analysis of customer returned partsDuring an individual training phase, we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. You demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks.You are best equipped for this task if you have:BSc or MSc preferred with hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC designs including extensive lab skills for the test and debug of switch mode power supplies8+ years of experience in engineering design and/or applications engineering and customer supportExtensive knowledge of semiconductor design and application development and customer supportExtensive knowledge in power supply control techniquesA self-learning, self-discipline and team player mindsetThe ability to effectively multi-task, manage priorities and solve technical problems independentlyNetworking skills and are good at developing relationships with internal and external engineering communityThe mindset to jump on the most difficult design and/or customer issues instantlyGood communication skills in English both verbal and writtenFurther desired skills:Experience in using digital & analog controllers and drivers for power managementExperience with magnetics design and optimizationExperience with safety and EMI complianceExperience with PCB design tools, Altium or AllegroExperience with simulation toolsWe offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
