We offer youAn extremely interesting, varied and challenging jobA pleasant working atmosphere in a competent teamA corporate culture characterised by a common goal, open communication, team spirit and hands-on mentalityRapid integration into ongoing projectsPerformance-based remuneration and ongoing trainingWorking in interdisciplinary and international project teamsAdditional offers for our employees (e.g. corporate benefits)The roleFunctional Safety Engineering for e-mobility (like Electric Drive Unit (EDU) for core and customer, VCU, transmissions etc.) application projectsManaging functional safety activities at software levelWork according to ISO 26262Create and approve safety relevant work productsContributing to the process developmentSupporting safety assessments and auditsPrepare safety related work productsAnalysis and evaluation of safety critical systems and functions based on state-of-the-art methods (HARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA, SA, FMEDA)QualificationsBsc/Msc in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable educational backgroundPreferably of 3 years’ demonstrable experience in an automotive or similar engineering environment, with a focus on delivery functionally safe software.Excellent knowledge in the technical implementation of functional safety (according to ISO26262 or IEC61508)Good English skills are required, spoken and writtenAdvantages:Working understanding of automotive HV standards; design methodologies and working practices.Proven experience of working on automotive e-powertrain systems (such as motors; inverters; batteries/energy storage; power electronics) and understanding their interfaces and integration into the vehicle.Confident at reading vehicle wiring diagrams, and understanding component electrical interfaces, e.g. Device Transmittals; External World Diagrams.German and/or Hungarian languages knowledge
