Provide automakers with cutting-edge equipment and solutions to develop tomorrow’s clean and connected car.MISSIONSPlan and realize component engineering activities (Plastic Omnium and supplier) to develop, integrate and validate Electrical/Electronical components in the Fuel Cell SystemsEnsure component’s characteristics meet systems requirementsEnsure Component’s development plan fits with project milestonesLead the benchmark of potential supplier and screening of technologies for new applicationsDevelop and deliver the Expertise related to Components of Fuel Cell System inside and outside the Company for the Customers projects and innovationsSupport launch for new component product lines (Component level) in accordance with the innovation roadmap (including POC methodology)Lead Suppliers product development performanceRESPONSIBILITIESPlan and realize components engineering activitiesPlan and realize the engineering activities in order to develop and integrate/validate the components in the system
• Prepare and release Component Technical Specification (CTS) based on system and safety requirements
• Evaluate suppliers technical offer and agree on supplier deviation list internally and with supplier
• Plan and follow Design validation of components (PO and supplier one) 
• Plan and follow Product validation of components (PO and supplier one)
• Support System integration definition and validation
• Support system life cycle analysis on dedicated component.
• write lessons learnEnsure requirement traceability (design and validation) for your dedicated componentGuarantee Quality, Cost and Timing of her/his deliverables and actively participate to any risk mitigation during critical period of projectsWork on BOM cost optimization with project teamLead the benchmark of potential supplier and screening of technologies for new applicationsIdentify, prioritize the component’s technology to screenIdentify potential suppliers for the needed componentsWith the support of purchasing develop partnerships with key suppliers to maximize synergiesContribute to partnership with university/research labsEnsure bottom-up innovation by supporting and sponsoring ideas from his teamPromote and report results of the ongoing POCs in accordance with the innovation roadmapEnhance the level of partnerships within and outside of OPmobilityDevelop and deliver the Expertise related to Components of Fuel Cell SystemBe the referent on technical topics related to your componentsAnalyze patent and literatureFind innovative designs giving advantage to PO New Energies product compared to competitionLead Suppliers product development performanceRespect the project’s budget: Support RFI/RFQ for any related Actuators needs and Actuators BOM price optimizationDefine optimal design task sequencing for component developmentMaximize usage of simulation, calculations and pre-validationReduction of loops in the development processREQUIREMENTSEngineering degree (energy, mechatronic, electronics – power, signal and/or numeric, automatic-control laws) or equivalentAround 5 years’ experience in automotive industry, ideally with research and development experience on mechatronics, E/E engineering, ideally in the field of complex mechatronics systemsDemonstrated experience in E/E architecture of automotive controlled systems/ embedded systems Demonstrate experience in architecture of automotive controlled systemsDemonstrate experience in physics, E/E, mechanics and/or fluid mechanicsDemonstrate experience in E/E architectureDemonstrate experience in electronics, ideally in power electronicsFamiliar with vehicle and Fuel Cell Systems architectureMust contribute at a high level in a team environmentGood problem-solving and multi-tasking skillsAbility to read engineering documentation related to E/E developmentProject coordination, communication and customer management skills requiredGood practical knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAt ease and effective in a matrix, multicultural and fast evolving environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment within tight time constraintsGood verbal and written communication skillsTeam spiritListeningDecision makingAs a responsible company, Plastic Omnium pays particular attention to diversity and equality within its teams and the Group commits to treat all job applications equally.
