As Director of Software Development, you will lead the engineering teams behind the connectivity foundation of TeamViewer Remote, Tensor, and ONE. Responsibilities Define and execute the roadmap for Remote Access & Controllow-latency streaming, secure connectivity, and cross-platform performance. Embed AI/ML into product features and engineering workflows for smarter, adaptive experiences and faster troubleshooting. Oversee distributed, realtime systems architecture; ensure reliability, security, and performance at global scale. Implement securebydesign principles and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR. Hire, mentor, and grow engineering leaders; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Partner with Product, Security, and Operations to deliver enterpriseready solutions. Improve CI/CD, observability, and incident response; optimize for speed without sacrificing stability. Requirements Proven Leadership: 10+ years in software development, 5+ years leading multiple teams and managers. Technical Depth: Experience building distributed, realtime, or networkingheavy software systems. Domain Expertise: Preferred background in remote connectivity or realtime streaming technologies. AI Proficiency: Handson experience integrating AI/ML into products or engineering workflows. Security Mindset: Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance frameworks. ZeroTrust & Compliance: Strong understanding of zerotrust security principles and enterprise compliance requirements. Influence & Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
