Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.As a Product Owner Automation Studio, you will work closely with our product management, analyzing feedback from the market, translating it into features and defining how they should be developed. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the R&D team delivers on the mission of your product in time and budget. With your strong knowledge and expertise, you will support our experts in being the driving force to define and develop the best Engineering System for Industrial Automation in the market. Your product room, consisting of several development teams will be embedded in an agile development set-up and being part of our Product Group Software.Your responsibilitiesContribute to creation of vision and roadmap for the B&R Automation StudioClose cooperation with Product ManagementDefine the product goals and own the product backlog for the Automation StudioAnalyze and compare relevant competitor productsCoordinate work with other Product Owners to ensure interoperability and regularly consult with the stakeholders of the productCreate, prioritize, and explain the product features to be developed and judge which features are completed at the end of a sprintYour backgroundStudies in the field of Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalentExperience in an agile development setup and familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)Experience with software development processes and languagesUnderstanding and Knowledge of Machine Automation including SecurityOpen and pragmatic team player with hands-on mentalityGood German and English skillsStrong analytical skills and the ability to set clear prioritiesMore about usAt B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training. In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of 3,921.29 gross/month. There is a clear willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
