Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.This position reports toHead of Quality & OpEx ManagementYour role and responsibilitiesThe Data Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across our systems. This role involves analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions to improve data quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for maintaining high data standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult and support data analytics initiatives
• Collaborate with various departments to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Design and execute data quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor data quality metrics and report on data quality trends.
• Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify data quality issues.
• Provide training and support to staff on data quality best practices.
• Utilize data quality tools and software to automate data quality processes.
• Document data quality processes and maintain data quality documentation.Qualifications for the roleMaster’s degree in Statistics, Business Management, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience in data quality management or a similar role.Strong knowledge of data quality tools and techniques.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in ERP software and data management software.Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Operations Research is a plusExperience with data governance frameworks.Certification or long-term experience in data quality management.Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, SAC, …)More about usAt B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training.
