Next Generation BMS and PMIC Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior RTL Digital Design Expert to join our team at Infineon Technologies AG. As a Principal Engineer Digital Design, you will be responsible for leading the design of next-generation Battery Management System (BMS) and Power Management IC (PMIC) technology. About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled digital designer to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of mobility. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions that meet the stringent requirements of the automotive industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and verifying complex digital circuits, including end-to-end digital circuit design and verification. You will work closely with system concept engineers to define optimal architectures and interfaces for digital modules, and lead design-for-test (DFT) efforts, including scan insertion and ATPG, while ensuring compliance with ATV ISO 26262 standards for functional safety.
You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of designers and students, and providing post-silicon bring-up support. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of RTL design principles, as well as experience with industry-standard tools like Excelium and Spyglass.
The ideal candidate will have a University degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 8 years of hands-on experience in RTL digital design. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of German is a plus.
