Mars Global Services are on the look-out for the next Strategic Operations Buyer-Captial & Factory Services to join their team in a crucial role to continue supporting all Mars Segments in providing commercial support and management. You will join a team who sit across all sites at Mars who work together in a hyper-collaborative way to achieve desirable and critical outcomes for our business.

• Bachelors degree in Business, Procurement or other relevant field

• Indirect buying experience preferred within Capital and factory services

• Excellent relationship building skills with internal & external stakeholders

• Experience in running tenders and category execution

• Strong negotiation skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Purchase capital and factory services goods & services by securing price, capacity & service levels in line with commitments to the business as per the sourcing strategies by applying a wide range of sourcing tools (negotiation, e-procurement, strategic collaboration, tenders/RFP's etc)

• Running and evaluating commercial tenders

• Fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Develop local market category insights including benchmarking externally and importing best practices locally
