As the Managing Director of Lundbeck Australia, you'll play an integral part in ensuring growth, profitability, and strategic direction for our Australian affiliate. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice-President, ALMAC Region, you'll have the exciting opportunity to shape our future operations in Australia.

Your responsibilities encompass developing a comprehensive business strategy, setting and achieving targets, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Moreover, you will maintain key relationships within the pharmaceutical landscape, including collaborating with key partners such as Otsuka and DKSH. As the Managing Director of Lundbeck Australia, you will oversee organizational leadership and development and promote a patient-focused culture.
Your future team
Lundbeck Australia's local head office is based in Sydney, with sales regions across Australia. The team comprises of a highly professional Australian Leadership Team (ALT) and colleagues with expertise in pharmaceuticals, business strategy, sales & marketing, compliance, organizational leadership, and other critical areas for our pharmaceutical operations.
Their collaborative environment promotes innovation and growth, facilitating effective engagement with local stakeholders while enabling seamless regional collaboration.
Together, with the team you will ensure Lundbeck Australia's success and shape the future of the pharmaceutical industry in Australia.
What you bring to the team
To succeed in the role, you would need to have the following qualifications:
A degree in business administration
Education or extensive experience in commercial disciplines or life sciences
Experience with the pharmaceutical industry with Profit & Loss (P/L) responsibility
Understanding of pharmaceutical business and market conditions in Australia, particularly in Psychiatry and Neurology
Your Personal Competencies:
Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively
Solid strategic mindset for developing and executing long-term business strategies
Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with health authorities, key opinion leaders, industry association bodies and other strategic partners
Demonstrated intercultural understanding for seamless collaboration in a diverse environment
