Holocentric is looking for a General Manager, Defence to join our senior leadership team. In this high-impact role, you will spearhead strategic engagements with Defence clients and lead multidisciplinary teams to drive enterprise-wide innovation and operational excellence at Defence.

What is the objective of this role?
As General Manager, Defence, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and management of Holocentric's Department of Defence account. In this role, you will provide expert advice to our Defence stakeholders in support of their operational excellence and capability development goals. You will provide strategic insights, explore and address opportunities to enhance enterprise business performance. You will lead and manage a Holocentric team covering account management, professional services, customer care, technical solutions development, and technical support functions. You will direct the team to deliver value to the Department of Defence and address strategic priorities at Holocentric to enhance our service delivery to the Department. This is a high-impact opportunity to set and drive strategy through to execution.
Based in Canberra, you will be supported by a broad network of Holocentric and Omegro experts and assets to succeed in this role.
What You'll Do in This Role
- Engage and partner with Defence stakeholders to support their strategic outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice to enhance business performance, optimize processes, and adopt enabling technologies such as Holocentric, Robotic Process Automation, Process Mining, BI, and AI.
- Develop and implement business strategies and plans.
- Lead and oversee the Holocentric Defence team and its operations to deliver to client outcomes, strategies, and plans.
- Lead client proposals, pitches, and responses to client RFXs.
- Develop talent and capability within the Holocentric team.
- Shape the Holocentric Defence team culture and way of working.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Strategic Expertise: Management consulting, strategic advice, and/or leading complex programs for senior executives in Federal Government.
- Client Engagement: Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and service delivery.
- Strategy Development: Expertise in business strategy, IT strategy, or consulting.
- Business Performance Improvement: Knowledge in business capability and process optimization and relevant technologies.
- People Leadership: Demonstrable skills in inspiring teams, creating accountability, building collaboration, and fostering professional growth.
- Security Clearance: Baseline or NV1 clearance.
