We are part of the recently incorporated Somnigroup International - the largest bedding solutions provider in the world We develop, manufacture, and market mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows and other sleep and relaxation products.
TEMPUR has been operating in Australia for almost 20 years and our local team comprises of around 75 passionate and motivated individuals whose mission is to Improve the Sleep of More People Every Night, All Around the World. Headquartered in Carrum Downs, Victoria, our Australian division is responsible for the marketing, sales, and distribution of TEMPUR products to leading bedding retailers in our region.
The OpportunityAs a Northern Sales Manager at TEMPUR, you'll play a crucial role in driving our sales team's success. You'll be responsible for leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive and high-performance sales culture for our Account Managers based in New South Wales & Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to ensure the team remains competitive.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonally, with the ability to communicate clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Advanced skills across the MS Office suite e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- A warm, positive and enthusiastic approach and the ability to work with energy and pace.
- Ability to learn and understand the products and services offered by TEMPUR Australia.
