Amalgamated Group is looking for a Building Services Supervisor to join our Brisbane team. The Amalgamated Group is a family-owned business, which is one of the fastest-growing commercial painting, building refurbishment, and maintenance companies within South-East Queensland, providing a one-stop-shop solution to a broad range of industries.

The Opportunity

We currently have a full-time vacancy to join our Brisbane office at Meadowbrook as a Building Services Supervisor. The role will require leading and managing our in-house team of carpenters and contractors within the Brisbane area. Our core projects include remedial, maintenance, facade refurbishment, and fit-outs.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Supervision & project management - QBCC Site Supervisor licence favourable.
  • Allocation and management of multiple trades across multiple sites.
  • Estimating/Measuring refurbishment and fitout projects.
  • Job monitoring and WHS compliance.
  • Client communication and development.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while meeting deadlines.

The right applicant needs to have:

  • Certificate 3 or higher in a construction trade.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to read plans and estimate costings.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and other relevant business tools.
