Doxa Community Club is a not-for-profit organisation where all profits from our two CBD gaming entertainment venues are donated to Doxa Youth Foundation to assist with their programs for disadvantaged children and young people.

About the Role

We are seeking a Responsible Gambling Manager to lead our responsible gambling initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of player protection. In this role, you will develop and implement responsible gambling policies, provide training to staff, and internal teams to promote safe gambling practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and oversee the company's Responsible Gambling strategy and policies.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant gambling regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  3. Work with internal teams to integrate responsible gambling measures into company operations.
  4. Monitor and analyse player behaviour to identify signs of gambling harm and implement intervention strategies.
  5. Lead training sessions for employees to promote awareness and understanding of responsible gambling principles.
  6. Act as the main point of contact for regulators, licensing authorities, and industry bodies.
  7. Support the development of self-exclusion programs and other harm prevention tools.
  8. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging responsible gambling practices.

Key Selection Criteria

  1. Completion of both 'Foundation' (Victorian Government RSG Module 2) and 'Advanced' (Victorian Government RSG Module 4) training within the last two years.
  2. Strong understanding of harm minimisation strategies and responsible gambling practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Experience in staff training and development.
  5. Ability to maintain accurate records and generate compliance reports.
  6. High level of integrity and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

  1. Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or gaming industry.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 and VGCCC compliance requirements.
  3. Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable).
