Our client in the mining sector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change Manager to lead the change communications and strategies for the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. This significant transition will modernize the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and the Change Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful adoption of this new platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing change management strategies, overseeing communication plans, and guiding stakeholders through the transformation process. They will work closely with project teams, senior leadership, and employees to ensure a smooth and effective migration, addressing potential challenges and driving user engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact project that will enhance operational efficiency and system capabilities within the organization.

Alongside the Lead Change & Comms Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Creating change management plans that align communications, training, and broader project activities.
  • Designing and implementing communication and training plans, activities, and materials to support stakeholders and encourage adoption.
  • Coordinating and assisting in the facilitation of training sessions, workshops, eLearning, and hands-on learning activities across departments to enhance user adoption.
  • Developing clear and engaging training, communication, and reference materials, including quick guides, FAQs, how-to videos, email updates, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Collaborating with project teams and SMEs to ensure training content accurately reflects system functionality and business processes.
  • Managing project communication channels and creating materials to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate messaging throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring and reporting on change activities, training participation, and engagement metrics to track readiness, show progress, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing change management, stakeholder, and project support as needed.
Experience Required:
  • Demonstrated experience as a change manager on large-scale projects.
  • Have worked on an SAP project.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities across projects and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with the ability or willingness to learn how to create engaging videos and other communication content for stakeholders.
  • Experience in the mining industry (highly desirable).
