* A new Parliamentary Officer Enterprise Agreement is being negotiated. It is anticipated that the salary range for this role will increase potentially to $182,813 to $248,629.
About the Role
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a passionate IT professional to play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a multi-year Technology Roadmap, ensuring the Parliament of Victoria and the parliamentary departments have a highly reliable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and deliver a strategic multi-year Technology Roadmap.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Provide expert guidance on resource allocation, ensuring the team has the right skills to meet evolving needs.
- Oversee the procurement and management of ICT services, maximising value for money.
- Implement and maintain processes and policies that improve system management and service delivery.
- Drive the development of cybersecurity practices and disaster recovery plans.
- Proactively identify and manage IT operational risks.
About you
Are you a seasoned IT leader with a proven track record of building and empowering successful teams? Do you possess a passion for customer service and excel at collaborating with stakeholders?
We're looking for a highly motivated individual with:
- Outstanding people and resource management skills and a proven track record of developing high performing teams in a multidisciplinary ICT environment.
- Proven knowledge of contemporary ICT and experience in the management and optimisation of infrastructure, applications, services and contractual arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing process and metrics frameworks to support evidence-based decision making and a culture of continuous improvements to operations and services.
- Demonstrable understanding of risk and issue management methodologies and privacy and data protection legislation and regulations including the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF).
- Demonstrated capabilities in well-honed relationship management, diplomacy and interpersonal skills including ability to communicate technical material to non-technical stakeholders.
A relevant postgraduate qualification would be highly regarded.
